Reed Exhibitions, organisers of Helitech International, are pleased to confirm that demonstration flights will be carried out from the venue during Helitech International. The event takes place between the 14-16 October at the Amsterdam RAI, and is run in association with the European Helicopter Association.  Exhibitors wishing to demonstrate their aircraft to customers will be able to utilise a temporary heliport located behind the exhibition hall making it convenient for those invited visitors to access aircraft.   “The team at Amsterdam RAI have understood our needs and the needs of our exhibitors and visitors and worked with us to provide a conveniently located heliport operation close to where the exhibition will be located.  We have also worked closely with the Civil Aviation Authority The Netherlands, Schiphol Air Traffic Control and the Province of North Holland to establish this temporary heliport whilst taking into consideration other air traffic users and residents in the local area” said John Hyde, Exhibition Director of Helitech International.

Visitors wishing to arrive at Helitech International by helicopter are able to use the facilities at Amsterdam Heliport, located conveniently close to the city centre and only 15 minutes away from Amsterdam RAI.  “We have partnered with Amsterdam Heliport to provide visitors with a purpose built heliport facility close to the event venue. This ensures that those visitors wishing to arrive by helicopter are able to park their aircraft in a secure location whilst they are visiting the event” confirmed John Hyde.  Once visitors arrive at the Amsterdam Heliport they are able to use their facilities, including café and toilets, and then make the short transfer to the event by taxis provided by the organisers of Helitech International.   The Heliport also offers secure overnight parking should a visitor wish to make the most of the fantastic networking opportunities available in the city.  Amsterdam Heliport has agreed to offer visitors using their facilities a 20% discount on their published landing and parking fees. Visitors will be greeted with light refreshments provided courtesy of the Amsterdam Heliport prior to making their short transfer to the event, on return there will be re-fuelling facilities available.
