Previously referred to as the GIRD, All Metal’s newly redesigned Gimbal-Grabber is now equipped with an opening “Halo” ring which allows for use on all camera models wherever it is located or positioned on the aircraft. This new design increases the safety of the camera unit while minimizing a mechanics workload. The steel constructed apparatus is intentionally configured so that one mechanic can safely perform an install or removal of any Gimbal that attaches to an aircraft while never handling it with their bare hands.  Additionally, it comes with a Lifting Jack and a Rotational Ride Plate. Its tilt down push handle with  X/Y tilt capability and 360 degree rotating pump handle ensures ease while handling the expensive and fragile Gimbal.
