Columbia Helicopters Appoints Senior Advisor

Columbia Helicopters is pleased to announce the appointment of Kees Blekxtoon as a Senior Advisor to the company. Mr. Blekxtoon will support the company’s marketing efforts in the Netherlands and India.

Among his many accomplishments, Mr. Blekxtoon has served as President for The Boeing Company, Northern & Western Europe, and as President of Stork/Fokker International. He currently serves as Senior Aerospace Industry Advisor to TATA TCS Group of India, and as a member of the International Advisory Board for the Netherlands Royal TenCate.

Columbia Helicopters owns and operates the largest, privately-held fleet of heavylift helicopters in the world. The company is the sole commercial operator of the Columbia Model 234 Chinook and Columbia Vertol 107-II helicopters, and also recently acquired surplus CH-47D helicopters from the U.S. government. The company works in the fields of logging, construction, petroleum exploration, wildland fire fighting, and as U.S. contractor supplying heavy-lift helicopter services in Afghanistan.
