The Aerospace Wiring Solutions (AWS) division of Projects Unlimited, Inc. was recently awarded Bell Helicopter’s new Bell 505 Jet Ranger X cabling project for flight test vehicles which will be used in support of Type Certification later this year.

The Projects Unlimited AWS division, which specializes in manufacturing branched cables, harnesses, and integrated assemblies for the aerospace industry, delivered preliminary cabling prototypes for the unveiling of the Bell 505 Jet Ranger X™ short light single (SLS) class aircraft at HELI-Expo 2014. The Bell 505 Jet Ranger X™ anticipates first flight late this year.

The AWS division also recently achieved Nadcap accreditation (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) for Electronics Cable and Harness Assemblies (CHA) which is a quality assurance program focused on the cable and harness manufacturing processes used in the Aerospace market. This is the second Nadcap accreditation for Projects Unlimited. In 2013, the company achieved the Electronics accreditation for Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) for their Aerospace Electronics division.
