The Civil Aviation Administration of China issued to Helicopteres Guimbal the Cabri G2 Validation Type Certificate on June, 16th, after an eight-month validation process.

This important milestone comes in good time the same week when the first two helicopters are prepared for shipment to Shanghai X-Square Aviation Co., Guimbal’s first distributor in China
X-Square will use their Cabri for ab-initio pilot training and will market the helicopter. A first instructor and ten engineers were sent to Aix-en-Provence in France to attend the factory training course where they were delivered their type rating.

The first two machines feature a comprehensive equipment, including night-VFR, dual COM to fit Chinese requirement, markings in Chinese, pop-out floats and the new cargo hook purposely developped by Guimbal for the Cabri.

“With firm orders for 10 Cabri G2 already, and negotiations with many operators, China has an almost infinite potential for us. The Country needs thousands of new professional pilots and the Cabri G2 is everyday proving itself the best helicopter on the market to train them” according to Bruno Guimbal, Helicopteres Guimbal founder and president.
