Helibras certified this year, the possibility of a new configuration for the EC725 in relation to cargo winches. From now on, the configuration is designed to receive two winches, electrical and hydraulic. The company held the instrumentation and flight tests for configuration containing only one hydraulic winch, as requested of the Navy of Brazil.

From the excellent results obtained in tests with Helibras, all EC725 leaves the company’s factory with the possibility of inclusion of the two units or only hydraulic.The winch is a standard unit of the three forces in helicopters and can be used to rescue personnel on the ground or lifting load of 272 kg (600 pounds).
