Raytheon awarded $10M turret order for Australian MH-60R fleet

Raytheon Co., McKinney, Texas, is being awarded $10,464,556 for job order 0060 under previously issued Basic Ordering Agreement (N00164-12-G-JQ66) for procurement of Multi-Spectral Targeting Systems Turret Units, electronic units and power converter units and data for the MH-60 Royal Australian Navy. This contract involves foreign military sales to Australia. The system is an airborne, electro-optic, forward-looking infra-red, turreted sensor package that provides long-range surveillance, high altitude target acquisition, tracking, range-finding and laser designation for all tri-service and NATO laser guided munitions. Work will be performed in McKinney, Texas, and is expected to be completed by April 2017. Fiscal 2015 foreign military sales funding in the amount of $10,464,556 will be obligated at time of award. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as set forth is FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(ii) – only one or limited responsible sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
