Global Aerospace changes US underswriting structure

Global Aerospace, Inc., a leading provider of aerospace insurance, is pleased to announce the following changes to its U.S. underwriting structure.

Effective April 1, 2015, Marilena Sharpell will assume the role of Senior Vice President, Operations and Underwriting Executive. In her new role, Ms. Sharpell will immediately begin realigning U.S. operations while continuing to oversee specific key U.S. underwriting functions and marketing. Her deep knowledge of our organization and our customers make her an ideal candidate to streamline and enhance the delivery of our products and services to our customers.

Frank Turtola will be promoted to Senior Vice President, Underwriting Executive. Mr. Turtola will join the executive underwriting team in Parsippany, New Jersey and his role will be focused on the oversight of U.S. general aviation business.

Christopher Proudlove will become the new Senior Vice President, General Aviation Team Leader of the Northeast Regional Office. Mr. Proudlove will also continue in his current role as Team Leader of Complex Risks.

I am certain that Marilena, Frank and Chris will continue to be supported by a first class team who will assist with making these transitions seamless,” stated Jeff Bruno, Chief Underwriting Officer. “These changes will give us the ability to capitalize on our strength and experience to further support our commitment to our customers, shareholders and the industry.
