HNZ Group VP/CFO announces retirement

HNZ Group Inc. (TSX: HNZ.A, HNZ.B) (the “Corporation”), an international provider of helicopter transportation and related support services, announced today that Robert Lafleur, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of HNZ Group, will retire effective September 30, 2015.

Mr. Lafleur joined HNZ in 2002. He served as Director of Financial Services until June 2006, when he was named Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

“On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Robert for his leadership, dedication and professionalism as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer,” said Don Wall, President and Chief Executive Officer of HNZ Group.  “Robert helped guide the organization through a significant period in the company’s history including its Initial Public Offering, its conversion from an Income Trust to a Corporation and over three acquisitions in his time with the organization.  His guidance of the Corporation’s financial operations has been exemplary and he has contributed significantly to the development of HNZ into an international helicopter provider. As a capable team player he has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to his colleagues and leaves a legacy of financial strength across the organization. The Board and all of us at HNZ are grateful for Robert’s significant contributions to the Company’s progress and his distinguished tenure over the last thirteen years.”

HNZ Group has initiated a search process to fill the position of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Lafleur will continue in his role to ensure a smooth and successful transition for his successor.
