At Le Bourget, Russian Helicopters will showcase the heavy Mi-26T2, which went into serial production this May, the medium Ka-32A11BC and the upcoming Mi-171A2.”

The heavy Mi-26T2 (an upgraded version of the Mi-26T helicopter) boasts unrivalled capabilities. It is equipped with the latest avionics, enabling the number of crew to be cut from 5 to 2-3 people, and meaning it can be operated at night time. The Mi-26T2 does not need special airfield-based maintenance, and can be based autonomously long-term. It meets the latest international aviation construction standards.

Participants and visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to learn more about the new Mi-171A2, which Russian Helicopters will unveil in its VIP variant at Paris Air Show 2015. This new Mi-171A2 is performing successfully in the final phase of tests. Built on the basis of the legendary Mi-8/17, which is in operation in over 100 countries worldwide, this is a fundamentally new helicopter. It is equipped with an integrated digital avionics suite. The Mi-171A2 also boasts a modernized fuselage, engine and main rotor system, making it more aerodynamic and delivering enhanced tactical and technical capabilities.

Another model that occupies a leading position in its class is the Ka-32A11BC. It is in operation in many countries worldwide and is known as an outstanding fire-fighting helicopter. It is designed for special search-and-rescue, high altitude construction or assembly work, transporting cargo internally or on an external sling, logging, evacuating the sick and injured, complex fire-fighting operations, in addition to patrols and providing support for special operations.

During the event, Russian Helicopters specialists and operators of Russian-made helicopters will share their experience and recommendations about operating these helicopters. Under Licence dated 30.09.2014 No. 2014214207, Russian Helicopters has the right to export spare parts, components, special training and auxiliary equipment, as well as technical documentation for military helicopters already delivered, and to carry out works to extend their service life, repair and modernization (including design research and development work), utilisation and other works comprising full service provision for military helicopters, and training foreign specialists to carry out these works. Today, Russian Helicopters is actively involved in developing its after sale service provision for commercial and military Russian-made helicopters, working to provide first rate service for helicopters throughout their full life cycle.

Russian Helicopters is also sponsoring Russian Hour, which will take place during Paris Air Show 2015. During Russian Hour, Russian Helicopters specialists will share their experience and recommendations regarding the operation of these helicopters.
