Next May at the HeliRussia 2016, French Association of Aerospace Industry (Groupement des industries françaises aéronautiques et spatiales, abbreviated GIFAS) will unite the French industrial companies at the dedicated French pavilion. IX International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia 2016 will be held from 19 to 21 May in Moscow at the “Crocus Expo” International Exhibition Centre.

GIFAS has more than 350 members from major prime contractors and system suppliers to small specialist companies. They cover the full spectrum of skills from design, development and production of aerospace systems and equipment to maintenance and operation. Activities extend from civil and military aircraft and helicopters to engines, UAV, missiles, spacecraft and launch vehicles, as well as major systems, equipment, subassemblies, associated software, defense and security electronic systems.

With each year the International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia grows larger, with more and more participants taking part in expanding business and exhibition programs. Vivid premieres and presentations take place at the exhibition. Despite current political situation, European industrial companies with each year are showing growing interest in HeliRussia. This evident to the enlarging international cooperation of the helicopter industry and a favorable sign for the companies, whose activities in Russia are linked with the helicopters of the foreign manufacturers.

International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia is held annually since 2008 in accordance with the Decree of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. The Exhibition is supported by the Helicopter Industry Association, which unites leading Russian and international companies, whose activities are related to the helicopter industry: developers and manufacturers of the helicopter technology, helicopters’ operators, as well as companies providing maintenance and other services for them.
