FAA approves FlightSafety Singapore S-76 simulator to Level-D

FlightSafety International announces that its simulator for the Sikorsky S-76C+™ and S-76C++™ located in Singapore has been qualified to Level D by the United States Federal Aviation Administration. The facility has also been approved to provide FAA PART 142 training under FlightSafety’s single certificate.

“We are pleased to announce that training for the Sikorsky S-76C+ and S-76C++ is now underway in Singapore,” said Daniel MacLellan, Senior Vice President, Operations. “The Level D qualification of the simulator and PART 142 approval of the Learning Center demonstrates FlightSafety’s ability to meet the most stringent standards and provide the highest quality training programs using advanced technology simulators.”

The new FlightSafety FS1000 simulator built for the Sikorsky S-76C+ and S-76C++ is equipped with FlightSafety’s Vital 1100™ visual system, CrewView™ collimated glass mirror display, and electric motion control loading and cueing.

FlightSafety is proud to have served as a factory authorized training provider for Sikorsky since 1983. In addition to offering training in Singapore, it is available at FlightSafety’s Learning Centers in Dallas, Texas; Lafayette, Louisiana; Stavanger, Norway: West Palm Beach, Florida; and at the Farnborough Airport in the United Kingdom.
