Able Aerospace Services, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, has announced the addition of Agusta Bell 412 component repairs and overhauls to its broad menu of rotor wing MRO capabilities. The announcement expands Able’s trademark cost savings and repair benefits to the Agusta-branded 412 platform, which is located largely in Europe and South America.

“Able has one of the industry’s most comprehensive platforms of Bell 412 component repairs, and we offer that expertise to operators across the globe,” said Able Aerospace Services Business Development Manager Geno Forman. “The addition of Agusta Bell 412 capabilities means we can now extend that support to an entirely new – and largely underserved – market. We are excited to provide these operators with a way to save more money, avoid supply chain delays and generally reduce their aircraft downtime.”

With customers in more than 60 countries, Able has a strong track record of delivering worldwide rotor wing MRO support to multiple aircraft platforms. For the 412, Able offers a full range of FAA-approved repairs and overhauls including, but not limited to, transmissions, main rotor hubs, elastomerics, hydraulics, and Level I and Level II bearings inspections and repairs. Additionally, Bell Helicopters supports nearly 200 AB412s worldwide through rotor blade repairs, composite panels and through various Aeronautical Accessories kits.

Able’s capabilities are part of the company’s more than 10,000 FAA-approved repairs and overhauls, completed almost entirely in house by a collaborative staff of mechanics, engineers, DER experts and customer service specialists. For international jobs, this team ensures seamless airworthiness certification that includes EASA, ANAC, CAAC and more.
