Integrated Microwave Technologies (IMT), a leader in advanced digital microwave systems serving the law enforcement, broadcast, sports and entertainment markets, is showcasing its Airborne Video Downlink System (AVDS), including the Mini Mobile CMDR, CIRAS-x6, CRx6, DR3 IP Diversity Receiver and the new VNS Video Streaming Server, at East Coast Helicopter Operations 2016 (E.C.H.O.), an event dedicated to public safety flight programs along the East Coast and training opportunities for flight crews.
“With the growing number of public safety agencies upgrading their airborne platforms, there is a need for a reliable, durable, seamless, fully integrated system to provide ground-based personnel a strategic and tactical overview of the mission,” says Sean Drew, IMT Business Development Manager, Law Enforcement. “We designed the AVDS with these criteria in mind, and we look forward to displaying this cost-effective, state-of-the-art, turnkey system to everyone at E.C.H.O. this year.”
The Mini Mobile CMDR HD/SD is a small, ruggedized COFDM (DVB-T compliant) diversity handheld receiver/monitor. It offers exceptional RF performance and durability, combined with true ease of operation and superb H.264 and MPEG-2 decoding. The unit displays COFDM video transmissions using an integrated bright, daylight viewable high-resolution 16:9 format LCD screen. The display also features an intuitive easy-to-use touchscreen menu designed with the user in mind. The Mini Mobile CMDR features AES Bcrypt decryption capabilities that make it ideal for applications ranging from public security monitoring to covert surveillance.
