Citations for dangerous flying and littering are being looked into for social media app company Likeli, after a helicopter cash drop for a back to school event for UNCW. Likeli hired Oak Island’s High Tide helicopter company to do the cash drop.

As reported by WNCN, Tim Owens, Wrightsville Beach Town Manager has stated that the event was dangerous, flying below federal aviation rules of 500 feet above ground and that the commotion of kids “swimming around trying to grab money” could have led to dangerous situations.
