Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) services, together with Pawan Hans hopes to bring their tourism business back after a fatal crash in December. The crash killed the pilot and the two passengers on board. Since the crash, the number of clients has dropped almost to a standstill. In order to remedy this, they are going to subsidize charges of the tours in an attempt to “attract the public,” reports Travel Biz Monitor. They now aim to focus on North Mumbai’s more scenic routes and hope to use Mahalaxmi Racecourse’s helipad to cater for South Mumbai.
