Last week in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Stan Rose, HAI director of safety outreach, joined Bob Martin from KRQE-TV and two members of the FAA Safety Team, John Dewitt and Richard Hammer, to host the annual New Mexico Helicopter Safety Stand Down.

This was an opportunity for the public and private helicopter operators to get together to discuss safety subjects and hear presentations on a variety of safety-related topics.
