Russian Government Distributes Money for Regional Air Ambulance Services

The Russian Government has agreed to allocate 3.3 billion rubles out of the 2017 federal budget to the development of air ambulance services in 34 regions. Together with the State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK) they will help with the construction of one helipad atop a hospital in each region. They hope to achieve that goal by November this year, reports Russian Aviation Insider. Local business have contributed with 340 million rubles.
