Second Irish Base for Air Ambulance Northern Ireland

Air Ambulance Northern Ireland has chosen Enniskillen’s St. Angelo Airport as their second base. Michelle O’Neill, Health Minister, has commented that they hope the service will be up and running within 12 weeks. The Department of Health is supplying the funds for this service, as well as Air Ambulance Northern Ireland raising £2 million yearly. Babcock Mission Critical Services are supplying two EC 135 helicopters towards the service, reports The Impartial Reporter.
