The vision for a helipad at Queen Victoria Hospital is soon to be a reality, with volunteers having raised $380,000 so far. Steven Hui, Revelstoke District Health Foundation’s chair, has commented that they are expecting “big announcements” in the coming weeks. The Health Foundation started fundraising in November, and with a few months to go, they expect to reach their goal of $465,000 soon, reports Revelstoke Mountaineer.
