The Czech Republic is looking into a military contract costing around CZK 6 billion. Although sources say the costs may double. Companies that are gunning for the contract include Airbus, Bell and Sikorsky.

The competition is high between the three companies, but a spokesperson has said that the decision may not necessarily be made by “open competition” but may also be done by direct purchase from another state. The ministry’s leaders are currently finalizing a market survey, reports Defence Aerospace.
