Anaheim Police Department has recently received the approval from City Council to purchase a 2006 Airbus AS350 B2 helicopter for $538,750. They already have two of the same models, which are based at Fullerton Municipal Airport that are operated by the Air Support Division Patrol. $260,000 has been allocated to the helicopter in order for radios, monitors and other hardware to be installed, reports The Orange County Register.
