The Goderich Council will no longer consider the construction of a helipad on municipally-owned land across from the hospital. Arguments against the helipad included the environmental impact of one and that a health-related building being built on the land would serve a better purpose. Blackburn News reports that the item has been removed from the Goderich Council’s agenda.
