$5 Million Awarded to Family of Helicopter Crash Victim

$5 million has been awarded to the family of Stacey Cernadas, a flight nurse who was killed in a Haynes LifeFlight helicopter crash in South Alabama. Metro Aviation has not admitted to any wrongdoing, as part of the settlement, reports AL. The crash occurred on 26 March, 2016. Three others that were killed were Pilot Chad Hammond, 29; flight medic Jason Snipes, 35 and the patient Zach Strickland. The helicopter crashed 80 miles south of Montgomery and was found in a heavily wooded and marshy area.
