After an audit was performed on South Korea’s Surion helicopter, evidence was found that the craft is unreliable for flight missions. The Board of Audit and Inspection found that the helicopter doesn’t have anti-icing capabilities or lightening protection, has a leak in the engine and even has malfunctions in the windshield and fuselage. A prosecutorial investigation has been requested on the Surion’s manufacturer as well as the South Korean arms procurement agency, reports Korea Herald.
