The Aberdeen Avera Careflight base is now known for having the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems Certification. This certificate is the golden standard accreditation in the air medical industry. They have had to increase training levels and the standard of equipment to receive the CAMTS certificate. The accreditation will expire in September 2018, after that it will be a three year renewal, reports KSFY.
