The Shangri-La Hotel Doha has recently opened their helipad for not only aviation usage, but also for selective events that promise to be an exclusive party atop the 50 story luxury hotel. Throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan they held ‘Highest Iftar and Suhoor’ events, with a sunset group prayer. They also have held a short film that focused on the crisis in Qatar, held by guitarist Abdulla Al Khuzaei. They have even held a yoga session already. The helipad can hold up to 20 people, reports The Peninsula Qatar.
