The China-Japan Friendship Hospital in downtown Beijing officially opened their new helipad August 29. Built on top of their four-story car park, the helipad will be able to increase survival rates for critical patients up to 25%. It will also be the only helipad that will be used specifically for medical services, reports China Daily. It can handle a weight of 8 tons and has a 20 meter diameter.
