The George Washington University Hospital has been fighting to get an agreement with the Advisory Neighborhood Commission of Foggy Bottom to rewrite a 30-year-old law that prohibits new helipad construction. The law was passed in the 1980s due to noise complaints by the residents, reports WUSA 9.
