GW Hospital Pushes for Law Rewrite after Las Vegas Shooting

The George Washington University Hospital has been fighting to get an agreement with the Advisory Neighborhood Commission of Foggy Bottom to rewrite a 30-year-old law that prohibits new helipad construction. After the mass shooting at Las Vegas, the need for the fastest transportation to a Level One Trauma Centre was shown evident. The law was passed in the 1980s due to noise complaints by the residents, reports WUSA 9.
