Leonardo appoints Baines Simmons to enhance safety performance

Air Partner’s aviation safety consultancy company Baines Simmons has been awarded a two-year contract by Leonardo Helicopters to support the development and enhancement of its safety management performance across its UK sites.

Baines Simmons will provide Leonardo Helicopters with specialist consultancy and training support, drawing on over 16 years of industry-leading experience.

The programme will comprise the implementation and reinvigoration of leading safety management practices across Leonardo Helicopters’ five sites in the UK. This will enable the company to meet the emerging requirements of both civil and military regulations, while also supporting the leadership drive to maintain the highest levels of safety.
