Bell-Boeing awarded $20M contract for efforts required for the production and delivery of seven V-22 Lot 23 tilt-rotor aircraft

Bell-Boeing JPO, Amarillo, Texas, is being awarded a not-to-exceed $19,674,000 firm-fixed-price modification P00003 to a previously awarded advance acquisition contract (N00019-17-C-0015).  This modification will provide for the acquisition of additional long-lead material and associated efforts required for the production and delivery of seven V-22 Lot 23 tilt-rotor aircraft for the Navy.  Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania (50 percent); Fort Worth, Texas (25 percent); and Amarillo, Texas (25 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2018.  Fiscal 2018 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $19,674,000 are being obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
