The A.L.E.R.T air ambulance program for Kalispell Regional Medical Center has upgraded their helicopter with the newest B407 model. Their old helicopter will now be used as a back up and for pilot training after 17 years in service and a total of 6,500 flight hours. The new B407 came to a total of $4 million. A loan was taken out for the helicopter, which A.L.E.R.T is now starting fundraisers for. They are sure the community will help support them, reports NBC Montana.
