Norway’s Auditor General has been criticising NHIndustries as well as the Norwegian Ministry of Defence for not calculating risks involved the NH90 helicopter procurement programme. The helicopters were supposed to be delivered in 2008, but as of have not been. The Auditor General has commented that majority of the responsibility for the delays lies with NHI but the prerequisites for the acquisition was not followed up properly by the Norwegian Ministry of Defence, reports Janes 360.
