Sikorsky and Boeing are working hard to have their Future Vertical Lift aircraft, the SB-1 Defiant, have it’s first test flight in December this year. Randy Rotte, Boeing’s FVL Director, has said that additional work may have to be done on the aircraft, pushing the flight test into early 2019. He also commented that they will not cut corners to go faster, reports Breaking Defense.
