Helicopter substantially damaged in emergency landing on road. Bridegroom Rishi Ramdeo, his parents Vijay and Danmathie and best man Robert Soogram were injured after their helicopter crashed outside the wedding venue. The pilot and the groom were reported in a critical condition and the other occupants were treated for mild to serious injuries.
Four injured in emergency landing in a garden. Pilot Eduardo Augusto Ospina was flying three military personnel - mobile brigade commander 29, Colonel Carlos Salamanca; Corporal Hector Fabio Sogamoso, and professional soldier Jaider Cardenas Posso.

Three killed when a JetRanger went down at 3.42am on a reality TV shoot on a remote ranch. Helicopter had been supplied via Crossbow Helicopters, who act as brokers between film companies and helicopter operators. Photos posted of this 206 on Orbic Air's website (example) in the last few weeks indicate that it carried their titles as operator. Casualties named as pilot David Gibbs, 59, cinematographer Darren Rydstrom, 46, and Michael Donatelli, 45 - they were involved in filming for the Discovery Channel.
During low-level aerial filming operations, the helicopter rotated quickly to the right and descended. The pilot made an emergency landing on the sloping terrain. The helicopter rolled over and was subtantially damaged with minor injuries to the occupants.

Chilean sources are quoting the accident as a UH-1H, but we do not agree - see the two stabilizer end-plates, definitely a LongRanger!

Minor damage in accident while helicopter was involved in operations to do with a ratio antenna in support of a sports challenge on the island called "Transportation Achilles". The three crew members were unharmed - Fernando Saver OyarzÃºn, Claudio Navarrete Flores and Rodrigo Vargas Soto. One source quotes the helicopter serial number as "38" but offers no evidence, hence we are not listing that.
Crashed from low level during take-off and ended up on its starboard side within the police compound. Press statement said it was a mechanical issue. 3 died when their JetRanger crashed en route from Jacksonville to Gainesville to retrieve a heart meant for a patient at the Mayo Clinic, police and hospital officials said. The crash killed cardiac surgeon Luis Bonilla, procurement technician David Hines and pilot Hoke Smith shortly before 6 a.m. in a dense pine forest southwest of Green Cove Springs.
