Helicopter was involved in installing an antenna, when it crashed and completely burnt out. Most reports say it hit a pole, but not clear if that was before or after it “experienced difficulties”. Crashed in open field not far short of landing at Rand Airport. Both people on board killed – pilot named here as Blake Simpson. The helicopter caught fire after impact and was completely destroyed.... Read more
