Incident summary – Oil exploration support helicopter went down, killing all on board.  Initial reports vary between 13 and 14 fatalities after initial reports of 9.  Some local news sources are saying it exploded in the air, 10 minutes from its destination.  The helicopter was supporting work by Perenco Peru, who issued a statement saying that apart from two crew there was one of their employees on board as well as others from three different contractors.

The flight manifest (according to this page) listed those on board as R. Caballero de la Cruz - Pilot, Pedro Garate Arcila - Co-pilot, Ángel La Rosa Díaz - Flight Engineer, José Vargas Siprian - Mechanic, Máximo Cuello Yumbato, Deyvi Salas Del Águila, F. Euro-Asia Airlines Mi-8 reported missing and not found five days later.  The helicopter took off on November 24 at 08.30 to fly over the Ushara-Dostyk section of the Atasu – Alashankow oil pipeline - but did not land at Dostyk at 12.30 as expected - and crashed nr Dostyk.  The helicopter had significant damages with only the aft remaining intact. All five crew members and three passengers died in the helicopter crash.  Manifest:  Captain – Raul Khabibullin -/- Pilot – Nurlan Yessenaliyev -/- Flight mechanic – Vladimir Kim -/- Engineers – Konstantin Maksayev and Viktor Radomskiy -/- Accompanying persons - T. Crashed on take-off from Murzuq airport, landing on a rail track.  Possibly due to overloading - reported as 25 POB with two injured to hospital.  On board were members of the reconciliation and civil peace team  including Third Deputy Prime Minister Haramain Mohammed al-Haramain, Minister of Local Government Mohammad Hashemi Harari, one of the chiefs of military staff and the head of Murzuq Military Council, Baraka Wardako.

A Border Security Force helicopter crashed in Sirohi district of Rajasthan killing the pilot and three others. The helicopter crashed at 3 pm near Bahadurpura village. A team of officials from Mount Abu reached the crash site and all the bodies, which are badly burnt, have been recovered.  The killed are identifed as pilot Colonel (retd) Bal, co-pilot deputy commandant Vivek Chaudhary, engineer SS Chopra and sub inspector Sohanlal.
