12 December: Bond Offshore Helicopters can confirm that one of its aircraft developed a technical problem whilst on an offshore platform. Engineers were dispatched and examined the aircraft. Substantially damaged in landing accident, reports FAA. Other reports suggest it was taking off, started spinning left and was put down hurriedly, wheels collapsed and it ended up on its belly between parking spot rows A and B

During winch operations, something occurred at the bottom of the line which has necessitated the cutting of the winch line and releasing it from the helicopter.Â As a result, paramedic Michael Wilson on the end of the line received injuries from which he died.Â No implication on the helicopter itself, more about the environment.

Four people were killed when the police helicopter crashed into the Miyun reservoir in a northern suburb of Beijing. Five crew members were aboard the helicopter that was returning from a rescue drill above the mountainous region of Miyun County with two other helicopters. One crew member has been saved.
The aircraft, which was located in the parking area and was preparing to carry out the operation of a flight taxiing to take off-shore, with two crew and nine passengers, suffered the separation along the entire tail rotor.The initial findings have identified a tail rotor blade at approximately 75 m from the aircraft.
