Good Samaritan Hospital’s AirCare medical transport service is upgrading to a Bell 429 helicopter in mid-November. Pilots from Rodgers Helicopter Services have begun training on the new aircraft at area airports. (see full story)

For 27 years helicopters have been landing and taking off Good Samaritan Hospital’s helipad. Considering the helipad has survived various storms and landings the hospital decided it time for an upgrade. (see full story)

Med-Trans Corporation was recently selected by Regional West Medical Center, based in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, to assume operations of its Air Link Flight Program. Med-Trans will assume operations for the flight program March 1, 2009, although the medical staffing, medical director and program management will not change.
