DHART Welcomes New Helicopter

Dartmouth Hitchcock’s Advance Response Team (DHART) has recently added a new EC-135 helicopter to their team. Costing $6 million, the craft has the latest safety features and instruments. As well has having an extra 180 pounds of lift, the helicopter can hold more fuel, making its flight time much longer, reports WCAX.

Approval Given for Queens Medical Centre Helipad

Queen’s Medical Centre has finally received approval for the construction of a helipad. Currently, air ambulances are landing on the sports fields of University of Nottingham and then transported to the hospital via road ambulance. The use of a helipad will cut transfer times from 20 minutes to 2 minutes, reports West Brigford Wire.
