The Gujarat Government has had to postpone the purchase of a police surveillance helicopter. The tender was issued but as only one company made a bid, the government had to cancel the bidding process. They hope to issue a new tender after the elections, reports Times of India.
The Delhi International Airport Limited is looking into exploring the use of helicopters to transport people to cities rather than roads. The discussion was brought up at the 1st Heli Expo India 2017. They are hoping to be able to provide more connectivity for air commuters, reports The Hans India.
