Northland Rescue Helicopter pilot dies in fixed wing accident

Dean Voelkerling, Northland Rescue Helicopter pilot and operations manager at Northland Emergency Services Trust, as well as a yet unknown passenger were killed in a light plane accident. Farm workers in Northland reported seeing debris fall from the plane before it crashed, reports New Zealand Herald.
