Sikorsky Workers Vote for new Contract

Sikorsky Aircraft workers voted this past Sunday on a new contract that will enable raises that add up to over 15% over the next five years. Both unions and Sikorsky worked together to reach an agreement that benefited both sides, reports Courant.

Three bidders in running to replace USAF UH-1N fleet

The Air Force and US Strategic Command are having to replace their 62 UH-1N Huey helicopters. With the replacements they want to have a fleet of 84. The three bidders for the contract are Boeing-Leonardo, Sikorsky and Sierra Nevada Corp, reports National Defence Magazine.
