Maui Memorial Medical Center adds helipad

Maui Memorial Medical Center adds helipad

Formerly, patients were flown to a War Memorial Complex field on Kanaloa Avenue where they were transferred from the helicopter to an awaiting ambulance. Now, patients will be flown directly to the helipad, where they’ll be transferred to a motorized patient cart for transport to the hospital’s emergency room. (full story)
