LifeFlight Eagle, previously situated at the Trenton Municipal Airport, has moved bases to the Chillicothe Municipal Airport. The move took place on Monday and the medical helicopter was up and running again by Wednesday, reports KTTN.

Medflight to open new Ohio base

To celebrate their new permanent medical helicopter base, MedFlight will be having a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 17. The new MedFlight 8 Base, now at Preble County Medical Centre, will include living quarters for the crew and a hangar for the helicopter, reports Dayton Daily News.

Lucas County Port authority leases hangar to ProMedica Air

Lucas County Port Authority directors approved leasing a Toledo Express Airport hangar to ProMedica to house its air-ambulance helicopters despite an objection from an airport business that maintains that it — and not the port authority — owns the hangar.  (Full story)
