UK based operator Specialist Aviation Services is pleased to announce that Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance has signed up to a ten year air ambulance package which will see the introduction of another brand new MD Explorer to the SAS fleet next year
SAS subsidiary, Medical Aviation Services will provide a turnkey operation and support package under the new contract.
The MD Explorer was re-selected following an in-depth operational and clinical assessment by the Trust of a range of currently available helicopters types.
The new MD Explorer will replace their existing Explorer G-LNAA when the existing contract expires, so G-LNAA, which operates out of RAF Waddington and has been a regular visitor at Helitech over the last eight years, will be making its last appearance at the show this year.
