On Monday, the “Villa La Contra” helipad has been authorized for use for operations at night (document reference ENAC Prot No. 0000061/DIRGEN/AIN of 04/01/2010).  Smeralda International Service, who operate the helipad, have thus achieved a further milestone in the development of private sector helicopter flight in Sardinia. In summer 2010, it will be allso possible to refuel on request directly at the Helipad, thereby greatly reducing the waiting time at the airport.
