The International Helicopter Industry Exhibition, HELIRUSSIA, sponsored by HAI Affiliate member association, the Helicopter Industry Association of Russia, and which has been held annually in the capital of Russia since 2008, has become a regular visitor to HELI-EXPO®. They are coming back this year.
The HELIRUSSIA exhibit in Houston will make it possible for EXPO participants and visitors to get first-hand information on the top priority goals and exhibiting opportunities for this year’s third annual “HELIRUSSIA” which will be held on May 20-22 in Moscow.
This is the only international exhibition in Russia where companies from Russia and other countries present world achievements in every helicopter industry segment, from design and manufacture to operation. The exhibition is held in accordance with the Russian Government direction and allows demonstrating defense-related products.
Last year, the second edition of HELIRUSSIA saw 144 companies from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, UK, Germany, and France, US, Switzerland, Sweden, Columbia, Poland, New Zealand, UAE, and Japan. HAI also exhibited there.
The exhibition was attended by more than 7000 visitors. It received wide media coverage due to 268 journalists accredited who attended.
In his welcoming letter to the guests and participants of HELIRUSSIA 2009, the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev said, ‘Such expositions help exchange advanced ideas and latest technologies, boost international cooperation…Russia is a unique platform for trade and economic development in this area.’

The “Russian Hour” will be held on the 22nd of February from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. in the George R. Brown Convention Center in Room 381 (B&C).
