A new Air Comm Corp. web site http://www.aircommcorp.com designed to meet the needs of aerospace industry customers, has been up and running since late last year.
The site was developed over the course of several months and is based on the results of a customer survey about what users value and require in an industry web site. Air Comm Corp. is a privately held company that develops environmental control systems and provides mission-critical components and engineering solutions for military and commercial aerospace customers.
“The response to the new web site has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Air Comm President Keith Steiner. “We wanted customers to be able to get what they need instantly,” added Customer Service Manager Glen Pfankuch. “And we wanted them to be able to do that even if they’re sitting 10 feet off the ground on top of a helicopter with their laptop or smart phone.”
Visitors to the web site may search for and order parts, or even order a complete heating or air conditioning system. They may also contact a support specialist, subscribe to a customer newsletter, or request online delivery of service bulletins. The site also lists employment opportunities, staff profiles, answers frequently asked questions, and provides operational data and troubleshooting tips. Product installation instructions, training manuals, and details about service and support programs also are online.
