Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services-North America (Vector) www.vectoraerospace.com,one of the worldâ€™s leading independent providers of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services has established a business office in Daleville, Alabama–adjacent to Fort Rucker Army Airfield in a strategic move to enhance support of existing and potential future maintenance, repair and overhaul support for the US Army and Army Fleet Support (AFS).
Ronnie Kearns, Vectorâ€™s director of business development – military programs explains locating the office in close proximity to Fort Rucker is a direct outcome of Vectorâ€™s long-term plan to build upon its ability to provide best-in-class maintenance, repair and overhaul support to defence operators including the US Army and Navy, as well as defence and security agencies from around the world. â€œEstablishing a permanent Vector Aerospace office near Fort Rucker enables us to be more proactive and responsive to our customerâ€™s requirements. In October of 2009, Vector was awarded a subcontract to perform the plastic media strip, aircraft inspection and painting of twenty-five TH-67 helicopters operating out of the Fort Rucker Army Airfield.Â In addition, Vector was granted approval to complete aircraft structural overhauls on two heavily damaged TH-67 helicopters at its Andalusia, Alabama repair and overhaul facility.
